3M Model 567 Overhead Projector Circa 1970s

The 3M Model 567 Overhead Projector is an iconic device from the analog era, emblematic of the educational and business presentation technology that prevailed before the digital age. Designed for durability and ease of use, it features a powerful lamp to project transparent sheets - or 'transparencies' - onto a screen, magnifying handwritten or printed materials for large audiences. This model, with its distinctive rectangular body and elongated, adjustable neck for the lamp and mirror assembly, reflects the design sensibilities of the 1970s, prioritizing functionality and straightforward operation. A staple in classrooms and offices alike, the 3M 567 is a piece of technological history, showcasing the evolution of visual communication tools.
